How to clean the K5 grinder?

Cleaning the K5 grinder is straightforward. Here are the steps to ensure your grinder stays clean and functional:

👉 Please Note: First of all, make sure to turn off the power to prevent accidental activation during cleaning.

Cleaning the Upper Grinding Plate:

Step 1: Open the grinding chamber, press the top button to release the upper grinding plate, and remove it. The plate is magnetically attached, so it should come off easily.

Step 2: Clean the grinding plate using alcohol or water to remove any residue, then dry it with a paper towel.

Step 3: Align the groove on the grinding plate with the plastic spindle and reattach it.

Clean the Bottom Grinding Disc

Step 1: Invert the grinder and open the storage chamber, you will see an orange lock ring. Turn the lock ring counterclockwise to remove the bottom grinding plate.

Step 2: Clean the grinding plate using alcohol or water, then dry it with a paper towel.

Cleaning Other Parts of the Grinder:

Use a damp paper towel to wipe away any remaining residue in the grinding chamber and other areas.

👉 Please Note: We recommend that you use anhydrous ethanol to clean the grinding disc and then rinse it with clean water. This can effectively remove the remaining stains on the grinding disc.
